I see Yamaha still makes the banshee you just have to go to mexico to get it.

I live in southeastern Michigan but a lot of guys I know go to Canada and get them. You gotta love the howl of those twin cylinder Banshees!

Oh I didn't know that! I thought the 2008 sold in Canada was the last one. Mexico is closer to me too. I always thought though if I built a banshee motor for my own it would like that 450R chassis project from the main page - an Banshee motor in a YFZ450 chassis. I'm glad yamaha hasn't abandoned 2strokes completely even though they haven't updated the damn thing in a lonnng time. Cool!

That would be a neat project. I wonder how a Banshee would do in a modern chassis? I know from experience that a well-built Banshee is hard to beat...at least in a drag race!
