Good reads:
8/2010: The AMA has published a short statement with the following title: New plan adds 40,000 acres for off-highway riding at Glamis" If "eco-dictators" can lose a battle like this at a pace that keeps up with their inclination to restrict human life, a more moderate perspective on regulation and the natural order of life maybe stands a much needed chance.

12/09: Everyone HAS to listen to this Yamaha TZ750 2stroke and contemplate what
it was like when engineers could build an engine with nothing else in mind than

7/09: I found another 2-stroke site that I think deserves some attention. It's nice to see other people out there
that feel the same way I do. Kinda gives you that "I'm not crazy after all" feeling. Please check out:

Wiseco quality. There is speculation in some tight circles that the company
is in a downhill slide. Is this video on their notorious crankshafts an idication
of that (Thanks David)?

All250R endorsed vendors and service providers:
This is a small section for vendors or service providers All250R 2-Stroke
Motorsports has directly dealt with and had a positive experience. The intention
is to be able to give 2-stroke preservationists a reasonable bet that if they
went to these businesses that they would have a good experience.

The TRX250R 89 clutch setup:
is considered a better designed lifter configuration because of the use of a flat
axial bearing instead of a single ball. That is one of the few significant changes between
the 88 and 89 model years. The part number for the entire matching parts kit is:
06220-HB9-305
At servicehonda.com you'll save about $8 over purchasing each individually. It includes these 5 parts:
pressure plate-22351-HB9-741
washer-90459-360-000 - For some reason this part doesn't show on the Honda fiche. Here it is though (12.5mm washer).
bearing-91001-147-006

Pictures of the 4 Honda TRX250R models
The very first TRX250R - 1986. The 86 and 87 came
in white with red or blue.

The 87 displayed slightly different graphics and a few relatively minor modifications (click for the larger other pic).

The 88 looked very different and with the shortened swingarm, handled a bit different too (click for the large version).

The 89 displayed different graphics and color from the 88 but with a couple minor
upgrades to minor parts, was largely unchanged. I have heard that this year was
the least produced and is the most rare.
